Nifty confirms UK sales team

Niftylift has confirmed two new appointments/promotions within its UK sales team. The changes came into force following the departure of Tim Ward this summer.

Tom James officially takes over the leadership of UK sales operation and will be the main contact for both sales and pricing issues etc… He joined the company as a salesman in 2016 but has now been promoted. He comes from an access family in that his father is Ian James of Bronto Skylift.

The second appointment is Tony Hobbs who joined the company in June with responsibility for UK dealer sales and support. He moved to the company from French manufacturer ATN, where he had been UK technical manager since 2016. Prior to that he spent 17 years with Manitou, the final 10 years as access product manager.

Tony Hobbs

He joined Manitou in 1999 from JCB dealer Greenshields JCB, where he was initially in the service department, becoming a parts supervisor in 1997. In all he spent five and a half years with the company.
