Hüffermann acquires ADW

German crane and access rental company Hüffermann has acquired rental company Autodienst West Ganske (ADW).

Headquartered in Bergen-Enkheim near Frankfurt, ADW was established in 1947, and runs a fleet of All Terrain cranes with capacities of between 30 and 500 tonnes, along with a number of loader cranes. Details of the transaction have not been disclosed, although it will take the form of a merger.

Managing director Daniel Janssen said: “After the merger crane rental remains a priority of course, even though we want to expand the business into other areas a bit. For the customers of both companies, the merger means significantly more service and performance capacity in the two main regions as well as in Germany.”

ADW managing directors Manfred and Ralf Ganske added: “We have found the right partner with Hüffermann. When it comes to corporate culture, quality and seriousness, both companies are very similar - and that convinced us.”
