New Jersey Demag

US based Bob Hegarty’s North Jersey Crane Services has taken delivery of a 130 tonne Demag AC130-5 All Terrain crane.

The new crane features a six section 60 metre main boom plus 11.4 to 21 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for an 80.8 metre tip height. It was delivered by USA Demag/Terex distributor Empire Crane Company and went straight out on its first job, setting trusses on a new apartment building.

Owner Catherine Hegarty said: “It’s not our first purchase, and it will not be our last. We love how personal their service is from their New Jersey location. You do not feel like just a number.”

Headquartered in Landing, New Jersey, family owned Bob Hegarty’s North Jersey Crane Services was established in 2012 and specialises in steel erection, setting wood trusses and wireless communication.
