Pfeifer to offer Nagano

Japanese aerial lift manufacturer Nagano has appointed Dutch international used equipment dealer Pfeifer as a dealer for its tracked boom lifts.

The move follows the recent appointments of Vertimac in Belgium and Arbeitsbuhnen Becker in Germany. Pfeifer will of course cover the Netherlands, but as with the Vertimac agreement, it also has the ability to sell elsewhere in the world on a non exclusive basis.

Nagano European consultant Stephen North said: "When we first considered Pfeifer Heavy Machinery, we knew that they were a well respected international player, in the market of used machinery sales. Specialising in used cranes and used powered access machinery. We first visited Pfeifer Heavy Machinery’s headquarters in Groenlo, the Netherlands back in December 2017 and were very impressed with the facilities in and organisation which we found to be perfect in all areas.”

“We also met the technical staff who showed us that they have good technical knowledge and understanding of all access machinery brands. So we had no concerns about their technical ability to support our brand. Gerrit Pfeifer and his team are very driven and we are certain they will achieve great results for Nagano, not only in Europe but on the global stage too”.

Pfeifer added: "We have known of Nagano and their activities in the construction industry, for many years. They have a formidable experience in producing world class premium products. So when we were approached by Stephen North, he had our immediate respect and attention. Over subsequent meetings and discussions, it became clear that Nagano and Pfeifer could be strong partners for both European and global markets.”

Following our visit to Nagano Headquarters in Japan we were very impressed with their production facilities as well as current and future products of tracked aerial work platforms. Our partnership was made official following a traditional Japanese ceremony and the signing of our dealer agreement. We are proud to be affiliated with Nagano and look forward to a bright future together”.
