Ruthmann’s first hybrid truck platform

Ruthmann will launch the 18 metre Ecoline 180 hyrbid, the company’s first hybrid truck mounted platform at Platformers' Days in Germany next month.

According to Ruthmann, the hybrid version provides the same features as the diesel Ecoline 180 aerial lift, such as 9.2 metres of outreach and 250kg platform capacity. But in addition to operating from the PTO mounted pump on the truck, the superstructure will have battery electric power source for emission free low noise level operation when working in places such as city centres or in residential areas during unsociable hours.
