Spotted in Germany, a man in a platform working on a set of traffic lights without any thought to traffic control, not to mention working over pedestrians.

Death wish
People happily pass under the man working at height

The man, using a Klubb van mounted platform to work at a height of about eight metres, is carrying out some form of maintenance work on the traffic lights. However, two adult pedestrians are passing beneath, one of whom is pushing a trolley of six toddlers, and the other with a young girl.

The risks are obvious, from both passing traffic, and dropping tools or parts on those below. On top of that he does not appear to be wearing a safety harness and lanyard, meaning he himself could be thrown from the platform if it was clipped by a passing truck.

Death wish
Happy pedestrians unaware of the danger looming above

Definitely one for the Death Wish series.

Have a safe weekend.

No problem, the traffic light was red almost half the time.
