The company will initially focus on regular tracked boom lifts, including the 43ft T15uj telescopic (NUL 13Suj in other markets) with a 15 metre working height and 300kg platform capacity and the articulated 60ft A20uj (NUL18uj) with dual risers telescopic boom and articulated jib for a 20 metre working height and 230kg maximum platform capacity. Further models will be introduced to Europe in 2019 and 2020.

Nagano- which was acquired by China’s Beijing Jingcheng Heavy Industry (JCHI) in 2012 – claims to be the Japanese market leader for crawler mounted boom lifts and has been manufacturing platforms and mini excavators for other equipment manufacturers such as Aichi, Kubota and Yanmar for a number of years. It has now decided that the time is right to begin building recognition for its own brand in Europe. It distributes excavators under the Hanix brand through wholly owned subsidiary Hanix Europe.

In addition to the appointment of Vertimac, the company will look for a few other sales and service dealers in Europe’s larger markets.
