Mateco acquires Flesch

German international rental company Mateco – part of the TVH group - has acquired fellow German aerial lift rental company Flesch Arbeitsbühnen.

The sale, by founder and owner Gerhard Flesch, was completed quietly and only spotted several days after the fact. A spokeswoman for Mateco speaking to Vertikal.net said: "All employees, all equipment and the location will be taken over by Mateco, but first of all they wanted to inform staff internally. A press release was finally issued last week but gave little detail and the transaction, and nothing on the terms. It did however confirm that the transaction was effective as of July 1st.

Gerhard Flesch

Flesch is based in Tuttlingen, Baden-Württemberg, South West Germany and runs a fleet of boom lifts, mast booms, scissor lifts, truck mounted and trailer lifts and has been an important part of the German aerial lift rental market for many years.
