Liebherr for Polish port

Polish port operator DB Port Szczecin has taken delivery of a 90 tonne Liebherr LRT 1090-2.1 Rough Terrain crane.

The two axle LRT 1090-2.1 features a 47 metre main boom and a 10.5 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway option with up to 40 degrees of offset. It will be used for loading goods and is the first Liebherr crane in the company's fleet, and its fifth crane overall.

Managing director Daniel Saar said: "The LRT 1090-2.1 meets our expectations in full. Its lifting capacities are high and the operating speeds, for example of the hoist unit and slewing unit, are perfect for us. The support procedure is straightforward."
