Trevor Ripley 1955 – 2018

We have heard the sad news that career crane operator Trevor Ripley of Emsley Crane Hire in the UK, has died after a period of poor health. He was just 63.

He joined Emsley in 1978 and was with the company for almost 40 years. He had been suffering with ill health for the last few years but managed to keep working on a flexible hours arrangement with the company. However he finally succumbed and passed away peacefully at home.

John Emsley said: "Trevor was a happy, jovial, likeable character, and will be greatly missed not only by everybody that worked at Emsley Crane Hire, but also by customers who used to ask for him in person."

His funeral takes place tomorrow at 11.30am at the United Reformed Church at Dacre Top, Harrogate, HG3 4ES.
