Another Tadano for Berres

German rental company Berres Kranverleih has taken delivery of a 70 tonne Tadano ATF 70G-4 All Terrain crane.

The company has specified the four axle ATF 70G-4 with the shorter five section 44 metre main boom, plus 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a maximum tip height of 63 metres and maximum radius of 50 metres. The shorter boom allows the crane to travel with the extension, 4.4 tonnes of counterweight, and six tonnes of hooks and rigging equipment while keeping within 10 tonne axle loads for easier travel, or 12.2 tonnes of counterweight within the maximum 12 tonne axles loads.

The new Tadano ATF 70-G4

Managing director Dorothea Berres said: "We have been very satisfied with our Tadano cranes for years. It was a matter of course that we also order the new 70 tonner from the Lauf based manufacturer."

Established in 2001, Berres is based in Kleinheubach, central Germany, runs a fleet of seven Tadano All Terrain cranes ranging from 40 to 220 tonnes and employs 15.
