Wemo-Tec adds depot

German underbridge access specialist Wemo-Tec has opened a new facility in Mörfelden-Walldorf, Hesse, its seventh location.

The new 5,000 square metre location has a fleet of around 130 aerial lifts, with space for up to 300. Located near Frankfurt Airport, a permit from air traffic control is required to set up aerial lifts at the new facility with a maximum height restriction of 35 metres.

Headquartered in Eichenzell, eastern Germany, Wemo-Tec also has locations in Fulda, Würzburg, Schweinfurt, Aschaffenburg and Groß-Umstadt.

Managing director Joachim Nießner said: "With our previous locations in the Rhine-Main area - more precisely in Groß-Umstadt and Aschaffenburg - we have been well positioned, especially in the south east of the region. The new rental office moves the offer from Wemo-Tec into direct proximity with Frankfurt and opens up new customers in the direction of Mainz and Wiesbaden. The operation in Mörfelden-Walldorf is going well - we have already successfully completed the first projects."
