Alfa takes over Teupen sales

Teupen is returning to independent distribution in the UK and Ireland with the appointment of Alfa Access Services to handle equipment sales as well as parts and after-sales service which it has been handling since becoming the official service partner in 2013. See Teupen adds UK Service Partner.

The move follows the departure of Teupen UK manager Craig Rooke in November when he joined Falcon spider lift manufacturer TCA. Alfa also handles service for ATN, Denka, Bravi and Gantic battery chargers.

In order to manage the sales function, Alfa has recruited Brian Penny to its sales team. A spider lift veteran, he joins the company from rental company Height for Hire, where he was a spider lift specialist. He previously worked with Ranger Equipment, the Teupen distributor prior to the manufacturer setting up its direct sales operation in 2013. He is a factory trained Teupen demonstrator and service engineer and is scheduled to attend an in-depth sales and new product training course at the Teupen factory in Gronau.
