John Maaskamp 1959 – 2016

We have just received the tragic news that John Maaskamp, publisher and owner of Rentit and Verticaal magazine in the Netherlands has died.

He was 57 and had been in hospital for a few days following a heart attack, but was released before Christmas. He died in his sleep sometime on Monday night - the 26th/27th December. He leaves behind three young children which he cared for following his divorce a few years ago, and two brothers, one of whom is looking after the children while the family arrange something more permanent. As soon as we know more and receive the funeral details we will update this bulletin.
