Dingli and TüV Rheinland work together

Dingli, China's leading powered access manufacturer, has appointed German based notified body and inspection authority TüV Rheinland to provide third party CE certification for its aerial work platforms.

A ceremony to mark the availability of TüV certification on Dingli products and confirm the new accreditation agreement was held at the recent Bauma China exhibition in Shanghai.

Dingli has always believed in the importance and benefits of third party CE certification, rather than self-certification, for obvious reasons, and previously used the SGS notified body. The decision to change to TüV was driven by a number of reasons.

1、While Dingli has always respected the work that SGS has done to verify and approve its products for CE certification, the organization is far less experienced in the aerial work platform industry, compared to TüV.

2、Dingli’s European partners were clear over their preference for TüV because it has stronger reputation and far greater experience in the European work platform market, where it has been active for more than 30 years.

3、TüV Rheinland has a reputation as one of the strictest certification companies for machinery accreditation, and Dingli is looking to work more closely with the company to help further improve its current range of platforms in order to better serve the European market.

TüV Rheinland said: “Dingli has been working with us on product safety and quality with strict international standards for a long time. Today their excellent brand reputation and overwhelming market share accounts for the endeavour and commitment to the quality from the company’s leadership to its operations. TüV Rheinland is always here to support local brands’ access to the international market with our great expertise and experience.”

Dingli sales & marketing manager Harry Chen added: “Since we began exporting we have understood the importance of working with a notified body to obtain third party certification for our products and SGS has been a good partner. However we see even greater benefits in working closely with TüV, in order to achieve the long term aims we have to become a significant and serious participant in the world market for powered access.”
