Liebherr launch Houston crane facilty

Earlier this year Liebherr opened a new sales and service facility for mobile, crawler and maritime cranes in Houston, Texas, representing the products from Liebherr Nenzing and Ehingen.

A few weeks ago the company formally opened the facility with an "Open House" attended by over 300 customers.

The new facility includes a three storey office building with more than 1,400 square metres and a 3,400 square metre service building on a 13 acre site.

Outdoor facilities include a crane testing area where load tests as well as crane performance evaluations are carried out. The new centre will offer customers crane maintenance work, accident repairs, and the reconditioning of used cranes. As well as training courses for customers’ crane and service staff.

The training area includes classrooms, simulators and “hands-on” facilities. The facility is very similar to that opened in the UK earlier this year at Biggleswade.
