Two shocked

Two men working in a utility bucket truck/platform were shocked and burnt yesterday in Sarasota, Florida after they came into contact with overhead power lines.

The two men, one 31, the other 46, are Florida Power and Light employees were working on one set of power lines but inadvertently touched a live line.

The men were able to lower the lift before the emergency services arrived. Both are said to have been wearing all of the relevant safety gear. Their injuries are not life threatening.
