JCB launches insurance website

JCB has launched a new online insurance service that allows customers to buy coverage quickly and easily on the web.

The new insurance website www.jcbinsurance.com offers a range of insurance products including ‘all risks’ equipment insurance and hired-in equipment insurance, both with optional road risks’ cover and extensions. It also offers public liability and employers’ liability insurance, specifically designed for rental companies, along with groundwork and civil engineering contractors with exclusive features such as an eight metre depth limit.

The website offers buyers the flexibility to retrieve and update quotes before they buy through a secure login where all their quotes and policy documents can be safely stored until they are needed. The system has been set up with the option to spread the payments using a secure direct debit payment system.

Director Michael Gregory said: “Our new website was developed with our customers firmly in mind. It aims to take care of the insurance needs a large number of companies quickly, easily and securely. We have however made sure that there is full support from our Head Office team for customers who still prefer to speak to someone about their quote before buying insurance online.”
