Stolen spider

A Teupen Leo Spider lift has been stolen from a Suffolk, UK, based company by a man with a strong “Glaswegian” Scottish accent who used a false name.

The man rented the lift saying that it was to be used to carry out roofing work. The equipment was delivered to an agreed address in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk on the morning of October 25th with an arrangement to collect it from the same location the following day. The rental period was then extended by a day and a new collection date of October 27th agreed.

When the company tried to collect the lift there was no sign of the equipment or the man who took delivery of the equipment. He is described as a very short - about 5'1"- white male, around 50 years old, unshaven with a poor complexion with pock marks and spots, proportionate build. He smelt of alcohol and smoked, had a strong Glaswegian accent and was wearing a grey hooded top, which he wore up with a high visibility jacket and very dirty, well-worn blue jeans. A man of similar description using the same mobile telephone number and the name Frazier Moat, has also been in contact with a midlands based access company.
