New 100 tonne Tadano for Horizon

Falkirk, Scotland, based Horizon Reinforcing and Crane Hire has taken delivery of a new 100 tonne Tadano Faun ATF 90G-4.

The four-axle All Terrain crane comes with 51.2 metres of main boom plus an 18 metre swing-away extension and can carry its full 22.3 tonne of counterweight on board while meeting UK road regulations.

Steven Dougall of Horizon said: " We looked at the other cranes in this class from other manufacturers, but the fact that the Tadano Faun does not need additional ballast to travel separately from the crane is a major advantage. It does not pay on a machine of this size to have separate counterweight transport. Also in terms of performance and specification the ATF90G came out on top”
