Scottish rental company Horizon Reinforcing & Crane Hire has taken delivery of two Liebherr All Terrain cranes, a 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1 and a 200 tonne LTM 1200-5.1.

The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 features a five section 48 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a maximum tip height of 67 metres and a maximum radius of 48 metres. The five axle LTM 1200-5.1 comes with a seven section 72 metre main boom and a 22 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, complete with hydraulic luffing up to 45 degrees. Managing director Steven Dougall said: “We are impressed with the Liebherr product, the reliability is great and the build quality extremely sturdy. The product is backed up by a helpful and efficient aftersales and service department. The new crane itself is a great fit into our fleet and having the 76 tonnes of counterweight and long boom means that it works really well for us. The VarioBase and new advanced technology is utilised well for our complex contract lifts.”
