About the role


We’re looking for a qualified Tower Crane Technician ideally with and electrical qualification to carry out safe, efficient and timely assembly, dismantle, fault finding, rectifications, servicing and maintenance of the Company’s in house tower cranes working within our Plant Services department.  


This role would be best suited to an individual with previous experience in the Tower Crane industry and who has a high regard to Health & Safety as well as excellent knowledge of the legislation governing the tower crane operations.


As one of our Tower Crane Technicians you will be required to work with the rest of the Tower Crane team, taking responsibility and ownership of your part in the team’s role, which is to ensure that our Tower Crane fleet is erected, dismantled, serviced, inspected and repaired as per the manufacturers recommendations and to work to the team leaders risk assessments and method statements and instructions.
Due to the travel requirement of the role, you will need to be prepared to work additional hours as and when required as well as weekend work to support Plant Services requirements. 

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 16.30pm and Fridays 7.00am – 16.00pm.


About you


You will be an experienced tower crane technician familiar working within a Plant Services environment.  You will have a slinger/signaller and lift supervisor CPCS Card and ideally an electrician’s qualification.  You will be able to work effectively within a team and work well under pressure.


Due to the nature of the job, it is essential that you have a clean UK Drivers Licence and must be prepared to travel.
