As a service engineer you will have the following responsibilities:
Before Training
Carry out basic crane repairs as instructed
Attend training courses and complete/ pass the course
To be on time & professional at customer sites
Completing paperwork efficiently and accurately
To work to and adhere all Health and Safety procedures to protect themselves and colleagues
After training is completed
Carry out LOLER inspections through thorough examination and testing
Carry out hydraulic repairs
Carry out electrical repairs
Carry out welding repairs
A successful candidate will have the following:
Extensive experience in service engineering- cranes/ lifting experience would be beneficial
Engineering qualifications or trainee experience in hydraulics/ electrics or commercial vehicles
Two work references must be provided and verified before any offer of employment is given

Hours of work:
Hours are varied throughout the week. Candidates must be willing to work up to 50/60 hours a week during busy times
Candidates must be available for early starts sometimes being on site for 6am
Candidates must be prepared to work 3/4 Saturday mornings
Rate of pay:
Rate of pay is dependent on experience. Full training will be provided and following this there will be a pay increase
