Platform Hire Ltd, is a leading independent powered access rental provider with an extensive fleet of diesel and electric machines. These are supplied to a wide range of customers across the UK. We have seen considerable growth and success and to continue with this expansion we are looking for a powered access engineer to join our team in the East Midlands
The successful applicant will ideally have experience within the powered access rental market. They will definitely have to display knowledge with hydraulic systems, electric motors, diesel engines and the ability to fault find. Applicants from the crane, plant or fork truck industry will also be considered
The successful applicant will carry out routine service and maintenance of the machines and pre-delivery inspections, keep accurate records of work carried out, carry out major and minor repairs and refurbishments and be able to estimate any damage/repair costs
Applicants should also have the following skills:
-Experience within the powered access industry
-CAP certification would be beneficial
-Be Self-motivated
-Have a full UK driving license
-Take pride in work to ensure the machines are kept in a pristine state
The Package
£22000 - £28000 depending on experience and skills, plus:
