International visitors start to arrive at Bauma

On day two of Bauma 2010 more international visitors managed to make it to the show and the first flights arrived. All in all a busier day with Munich and Frankfurt airports opening up for the first flights yesterday evening.

As the week progresses more visitors are expected although some have now abandoned their efforts. On the other hand there were numerous of determined individuals making supreme efforts to be at the big show, with a number visitors driving over 2,500 kilometres, while others took long taxi rides of up to €2,500 after becoming stranded and unable to get a seat on a train.
