Gantry crane collapse in Singapore

A 60 tonne gantry crane collapsed at a Singapore ship repair yard on Pandan Road in the city state yesterday.
A man in his twenties died after being pinned under the wreckage for more than three hours. Three others were injured when the crane crashed to the ground at the Hiap Shing Shipyard.
Inspectors from the Manpower Ministry's Occupational Safety and Health Inspectorate responded to the accident and were investigating onsite.
