CTE to broaden distribution of ladder lifts

CTE is expanding the distribution of its ladder type material lifts, mounted on trucks, trailers and pick-ups. As part of this plan it is launching its Pratika pick-up, truck or trailer mounted models in the UK

The lifts are designed to lift a wide range of items from the street to the upper floors of buildings, where the internal access is confined or when other forms of handling equipment are unavailable or impractical. The range includes models of lifting heights of up to 33 metres with safe working loads of up to 300kgs.
The ladder lift concept is well-established in many parts of Europe yet almost unheard of in some others. CTE is hoping to change this.

The lift is placed against the façade of the building reaching to a window or other opening. The load is then placed on the lifts platform which rises to the opening via powerful electric motors driven by the vehicles own power supply.
The load platform stays level, regardless of the angle of the ladder and a range of platforms with various sizes and design are available to support applications such as general load handling and furniture deliveries.
