Liebherr opens in Turkey and Azerbaijan

Given the increased importance of the, Liebherr decided to step up its direct sales activities and expand its after-sales service.
The new company will provide support for a large part of Liebherrs maritime crane programme in Turkey, as well as the complete earthmoving line up and the Groups material handling and special-purpose civil engineering equipment.

The business, which employs 43, already has a population of more than 1,500 pieces of earthmoving equipment, around 30 hydraulic rope excavators and crawler cranes and 40 large dockside cargo handling installations to look after.
In Azerbaijan, Baku based Liebherr-Azeri LLC has been established to serve the growing market and is responsible for all Liebherr maritime cranes as well as mobile, crawler and tower cranes, in addition to hydraulic rope excavators, special-purpose civil engineering equipment and products from the Groups mixing technology division. The company currently employs twelve people.
Both new companies are subsidiaries of Liebherr-MCCtec GmbH of Nenzing, Austria, which is responsible for the Groups maritime cranes division.
