Kevin Shadbolt, IPS operations director said: ‘We are delighted with this partnership. We believe IPS can add value to the Hanix business by providing its customers with a practiced and professional after sales solution. We have an existing network of engineers within the UK, a successful parts distribution centre and the know-how to give every Hanix customer the very best standards of service’”

Nagano announced the Hanix distribution/branding deal at Apex in September, Hanis is using this months Executive Hire Show in Coventry for the official launch. Hanix is offering all three Nagano CE approved booms in the UK, but will exhibit the smallest model, the 30ft platform height HA09ZA, (Nagano NA09ZA) at the show.

Vertikal Comment

The appointment of an independent product support company such as IPS is a smart move by Hanix, providing it with flexibility in an uncertain market and allowing it to focus its efforts on sales and marketing. The connection with IPS will also introduce Hanix aerial lift products which are specialist niche products, to the IPS team and associate businesses helping spread the word.

IPS gains some diversification from the aerial lift business and additional business for its team of service engineers just as its contract with SGB begins to wind down.
All in all a good move for both.
