Teufelberger the Austrian based producer of high performance wire ropes has announced a co-operation agreement, sealed at the Big 5PMV show in Dubai, with Austrian based Imeco, a specialised distributor of foundation cranes and equipment with strong ties in the Middle East.

Imeco plans to use Teufelberger’s TK 16 Evolution rope on the cranes that it imports from around the world, including China, Gerald Neuwirth, marketing manager - ropes at Teufelberger. “This rope has already proven its outstanding performance in different, high demanding applications like offshore cranes, ship cranes and special deep foundation equipment, it will undoubtedly add further quality to the benefit of Imeco’s customers..



Karl Pacik, managing director of Imeco said: “We believe that the operational efficiency of these machines can be improved significantly and cost of ownership reduced significantly by using high performance wire ropes instead of standard ropes, as the cost of unplanned downtime is very high”
