Braddan adds to sales team

UK access rental company Braddan Plant Hire has promoted Nick Taylor to business development manager.
In his new role he will be responsible for driving external sales, building strong customer relationships and partnerships, while expanding the company's market share.

Taylor joined Braddan four years ago as a service engineer/driver/operator coming from Todds Highway Maintenance, where he had spent the previous 14 years, having started out as an equipment operator/sire foreman in 2005, leaving for Bradden in 2020.

Managing director Carl Caddick said: “Nick began his working career when he joined Todds Highway Maintenance as a machine operator/site foreman back in 2005 gaining vital skills over his 14 years there that were easily transferred into the access world. After starting at Braddan the management soon realised Nick's potential and sought another driver allowing Nick to move up to the business development manager's position.”

“Nick has built up some very strong customer relationships in the area. I am confident that he is a great fit to take the lead in continuing the growth of our access hire division and to drive efficiencies into the business.”

Based in Darlington in north east England, Braddan Plant Hire began trading in 2017 and has a sister company Braddan Structures steel erectors with its own cranes. The rental business now runs a fleet of boom lifts up to 85ft, scissor lifts up to 50ft along with van mounted and low level lifts. It also operates a successful IPAF training centre.
