The new machine, the company’s first scissor lift, has a working height of 4.95 metres with a platform capacity of 240kg. The new model has an overall width of 765mm, an overall length of 1.27 metres and a stowed height of just under 1.78 metres. Total weight is 390kg. The unit has a 24 Volt system for the lift function, in order to keep costs lower, given that this is an entry level product that must replace ladders or towers.

The P300 is manufactured by parent company Gromet at its plant in Pove del Grappa. Standard safety features include automatic two wheel braking as the platform is elevated. Chassis runs on four heavy duty castors. Gromet has designed the tooling in order to enable the most efficient production.
Simple safe controls

Chief executive Massimo Grossele said: Our growth strategy to become a leading manufacturer of low level products is a continuous strategic expansion of our product line. Compact scissor lifts are a natural expansion of our current range, we are starting with the P300 push around model, and thanks to the modular design the same chassis can be used for a self-propelled version. We are convinced that a classic product like a scissor lift machine will give us the opportunity to enter a wider variety of new markets, while increasing sales in existing ones.”
