Walking away from major electric shock

A lineman working from a vehicle mounted lift at a height of around seven metres survived a substantial electric shock this week.

While he had to be rescued, unusually for such an occurrence, he managed to walk away from the incident, although he did receive serious burns from the ordeal, and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred in Bovina, between Vicksburg and Jackson in Mississippi. He had been working for an electrical contractor at the time.

We will update if and when we learn more.
