Director change at Ashtead

Ashtead - owner of Sunbelt Rentals in North America and A-Plant in the UK - has announced that Wayne Edmunds, one of its non-executive directors and chairman of its Audit Committee is to stand down at the Annual General Meeting in September, after four years with the company. Edmunds is a US citizen and lives in New Jersey.

Lucinda Riches, who joined Ashtead in 2016 and is currently chairman of the Remuneration Committee See new director for Ashtead, will also chair the Audit Committee on an interim basis until a replacement is appointed.
