New branch manager for Sims

Florida, US based crane rental and rigging company Sims has appointed Bill Titus as general manager of its West Palm Beach location.

Titus, joins the company from Hunter Crane Merchant Transport & Rigging in West Palm Beach where he was field supervisor having moved up through the ranks. A 28 year crane industry veteran began his crane and heavy transport with General Crane in Pompano Beach career in 1988. He brings skills in administrative/management, contracts, compliance, customer relations, training and transportation logistics, to the business along extensive knowledge of lifting and moving solutions.

Bill Titus

Opened in 2014, Sims’ West Palm Beach branch is located on a three acre plot on Tall Pines Road and comprises 600 square metres of office and workshop space, with room to lease an additional five acres as growth demands.

“I have always been impressed with Sims and knew this general manager position would be a great opportunity for me,” said Titus. “Sims runs a proactive operation, keeping pace with industry standards and always focusing on safety. I am excited to join the team and serve my many long standing customers in West Palm Beach.”
