First Comansa LCL700 in USA

US based GLY Construction has taken delivery of the first 64 tonne Linden Comansa LCL700 luffing jib tower crane to arrive in the Americas.

The maximum radius of the LCL700 is 65 metres at which this version of the crane can lift 7.2 tonnes. It is the very first unit in North and South America and has recently been erected in downtown Seattle, Washington, where it is working on the Rufus 2.0 Block 21 site, part of Amazon’s urban campus.

The crane also includes a support winch, used to lift and put in place the auxiliary ropes of the jib, or to displace and install the heavy reeving sheaves without needing the support of a support crane.
