33m Platform Basket for Somlec

French crane and access rental company Somlec has taken delivery of a new 33 metre Platform Basket Spyder 33.15 bi-energy spider lift.

The new platform offers a working height of 32.4 metres with an outreach of 15.6 metres at a height of almost 17 metres thanks to its four section telescopic riser – lower boom and two section telescopic upper boom.

The new machine is the company’s largest spider lift and joins a fleet of more than 200 cranes, platforms and telehandlers, with 165 self-propelled booms and scissor lifts up to 41 metres, and truck mounted lifts up to 60 metres. Other products include All Terrain cranes to 100 tonnes, spider cranes and telehandlers.

The family owned company is located in Les Cheres, north of Lyons, and was established in 1970 by Joseph Dufournel. It is managed today by Patrick Dufournel.
