Elevate lift off in North America

US rental company BlueLine Rental has taken delivery of a number of Skyjack aerial lifts, the first in North America to be equipped with the new Elevate telematics solution.

The order includes scissor lifts, boom lifts and telehandlers. The Elevate feature will allow BlueLine to monitor and manage the machines remotely, spot service requirements in advance, provide remote troubleshooting, battery pack management, and verification of the machine’s location. The telematics solution includes two mobile-first apps, Elevate On and Elevate Go, which will enable BlueLine personnel to access critical fleet data while on site.

Skyjack product manager of technology and innovation David Swan said: “Elevate is a project we’ve been living and breathing for the past year and to see such a positive reception from rental companies, and to be able to provide them with an immediate impact, is extremely rewarding.”
