CIS moves to new premises

US based crane and rigging training company Crane Industry Services (CIS) has relocated to a larger facility in order to keep pace with growing demand for its services and to offer a broader range of training courses.

The new facility has 825 square metres of office and training space located on a 3.5 acre plot in Carrollton, Georgia, convenient to Atlanta airport, West Georgia and Birmingham, Alabama. It features multiple training rooms, an NCCER testing centre, a simulation room, outside space for hands on crane training and two warehouses for indoor practical training.

The training centre was previously located on the West Georgia Technical College campus - See Georgia crane college opens. The new facility will also offer assessment and training after hours and at weekends to meet the needs of customers who must work training around job schedules.

Chief executive Debbie Dickinson “Our partnership with West Georgia Technical College continues, but this new facility allows us the space to offer skills training in welding, electrical, millright, and carpentry, as well as rigging and crane operation. While our expertise is skills training for workers in construction, energy, and heavy industrial markets, our sister company Instructional Dimensions and corporate partnership with ELA Consulting Group, also provides executive leadership training and boot camps.”
