Grove for Düsseldorf Airport

Düsseldorf Airport in Germany has taken delivery of a 80 tonne Grove GMK 4080-1 All Terrain crane.

The four axle GMK 4080-1 features a 51 metre main boom, an eight to 25 metre extension with a maximum tip height of 75 metres. It will be used as part of the airport's fire department.

The new Grove GMK 4080-1

The crane is equipped with wider 525/80 R25 tyres, has a reinforced rear frame with drawbar eyes, along with the special signage and lighting for airport operations, and external feed points for compressed air and electricity.
