RTL expands Terex fleet

US crane sales and rental company RTL Equipment has ordered a number of Demag and Terex cranes.

The Demag models include 220 tonne AC 220-5 and 250 tonne AC 250-6 All Terrain cranes. The Terex cranes include two 36 tonne T 340-1 telescopic truck cranes, and two 100 tonne HC 110-1 crawler cranes.

Demag AC 220-5

The five axle crane features an eight section 78 metre main boom, plus an 11.4 to 21 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a 99 metre maximum tip height. The six axle AC 250-6 features an 80 metre main boom plus a 36 metre extension, giving a maximum tip height of 113 metres. The T 340-1 features a four section 29 metre main boom, and the HC 110-1 features a 70 metre main boom.

Established in 1989, RTL Equipment is based in Des Moines, Iowa and is the local distributor for Terex and Demag cranes. The company also runs a rental fleet of boom lifts, scissor lifts and excavators.
