New VP national accounts for Acme

US wholesale rental company Acme Lift has promoted Chelsea Myrick Long to senior vice president of national accounts.

She joined Acme in 2014 as a rental coordinator at the company’s ‘War Room, rental operations centre, in Mesa, Arizona. She was then promoted to senior vice president of western operations in 2016.

She began her career in 2002 as a rental coordinator for her father’s company, Diamondback Rentals and Sales. He sold the company to The Papé group, and stayed on as a senior rental department administrator until 2006, when she moved to Eugene, Oregon, as an accounts receivable specialist for the company, and rental manager for Papé Machinery in southern Oregon. In 2010 she moved to Salinas, California, as sales and rental administrator for Papé Material Handling.

In 2012 she left the company to join Volvo Rents, which became Blueline after the business was acquired by Platinum Equity in 2014.
