Vertikal Comment

When this new product will be launched is still anyone's guess - might we see a prototype at Intermat? Ruthmann has a track record for teasers and spoilers and announcing new models when they are still at the early development stage.

Could the recent announcement of a new 33 metre Hinowa spider lift have encouraged the company to announce its plans now? Or is it the arrival of the larger Palfinger branded Palazzanis?

The fact is that the Italian manufacturers that already dominate the sub 26 metre spider lift market are looking to extend the hold to the 30 to 33 metre market. Ruthmann Italia/Bluelift and Hinowa will be joining fellow Italians Platform Basket, Palazzani, CMC and Multitel Pagliero which are already active in the 30 metre market, which will apply pressure on the current big players in the sector - Teupen, Ommelift and TCA/Falcon.

It may well help expand the overall size of this market, although possibly at the cost of pulling prices down?

Interesting times.
