Kito acquires in Finland

Japanese overhead crane and hoist manufacturer Kito, has acquired Finnish overhead and light crane manufacturer Erikkila in an all share purchase deal.

Kito founded and owns Harrington Hoists and Peerless in the USA and produces a wide range of industrial cranes, slings, web tie downs and chain sets. The move follows the dissolution of the company’s cooperation and joint stock holding deal with Konecranes in 2016.

Erikkila produces a wide range of light overhead cranes and lifting gear

Erikkila was established in 1912 and produces a similar range of light products as Kito.
