Crane over in DC

A telescopic crawler crane overturned on a construction site in Washington DC last Thursday, the operator managed to escape uninjured, although he was taken to hospital for a check over and to treat cuts and bruises that he had sustained.

It is not known at this point what caused the incident, although ground conditions are said to have been a factor. The site is located in the Navy yard area of the city on 3rd and Tingey streets.
