Tough talk livery

Spotted by a reader in Auckland, New Zealand, a pick up truck - or ute - belonging to a scaffold company, carrying a strong message.

Brilliantly done in contrasting orange and grey, the message reads: "Scaffolding that’s rock solid and erected on time!... Or we get our arses kicked by a big, grumpy, Scotsman".

The pick up with the strong message

The company is Certified scaffolding Auckland, which also has a unique approach to safety, by photographing the detail of each scaffold installation in its entirety, when it is inspected, with high resolution pictures taken every two metres, so that the entire structure can be viewed at any time in great detail.

All of the 150 to 200 scaffolds that it has up at any one time are inspected and photographed every week, thus recording and catching any contractor modifications.
