Demag AC 700-9 for Japan

Japanese crane rental company Aoki Juki has ordered a 700 tonne Demag AC 700-9 All Terrain crane.

The crane features a five section 60 metre main boom and can be rigged with a 96 metre luffing jib and Sideways Superlift attachment and up to 160 tonnes of counterweight with a maximum tip height of just under 150 metres. To meet Japanese regulations, Demag has modified the AC 700-9 into an eight axle chassis with quick removal and re-installation of the boom and superstructure. It will be the third AC 700-9 crane in the company's fleet.
