A seasonal spruce up

Spotted in the Dorset town of Wimborne earlier this week, a two man team repainting or touching up the paint on the first floor of a high street building. The two have used a ladder to access a narrow ledge – of insufficient width for a foot, so clearly one needs to keep on their toes for this form of work platform.

working on the ledge, or should that be edge!

While one man does the painting with a large tin in one hand and the brush in the other, a colleague, hopefully not his employer, looks on and pedestrians pass blindly by. This is a case where you might do better to pass under the ladder, in case this man falls and you end up acting as a shock absorber.

Definitely one for our Death Wish series.

Have a safe weekend!
