Welsh Maeda

Welsh rental and machinery movement company Portacover has taken delivery of its first Maeda LC785 mini crawler crane.

With a maximum capacity of 4.9 tonnes at two metres radius, the LC785 features a five section 15.63 metre telescopic boom, and has been specified with the optional 4.6 metre telescopic swingaway extension which takes the maximum tip height to just over 22 metres. Pick & carry capacity is two tonnes. The crane was delivered by Maeda distributor Kranlyft UK.

The Maeda LC785 is handed over


Established in 1986, Portacover is based in Swansea, South Wales. The company was originally involved with heavy engineering work, but has now moved into the rental of spider cranes, forklifts and glass lifters.
