Comets for Palermo

Italian truck mounted lift manufacturer Comet has delivered four 14 metre Eurosfilo 14-2-9 Dual Fuel truck mounted platforms to the city of Palermo.

The ‘Bio-methane’ powered telescopic platforms are mounted on 3.5 tonne Iveco chassis, and offer an outreach of nine metres with a platform capacity of 200kg. The unit includes 360 degree continuous slew, full pressure hydraulic controls and in board levelling jacks.

The Eurosfilo 14-2-9 truck mounted platforms ready to ship

The City of Palermo in Sicily will use the new platforms to carry out maintenance services throughout the city. The methane power allows the machines to access restricted parts of the historic town.
